She is a New Orleans native who owns a hair salon in her hometown. The hair salon has been in her family for many decades and she takes a tremendous amount of pride in it. She considers her staff part of her family because they have stood with her through thick and thin, even through the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Through out that whole tragedy, her staff helped her pick up the pieces and redeem her nearly destroyed shop.
