Sai Sankoh was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa — a country of extraordinary color, culture, and old-world elegance. When civil war reached her homeland, Sai's family fled. She moved through Sweden, London, Ghana, and the United States, carrying with her an unshakeable love for beauty, movement, and the transformative power of getting dressed.
Before fashion, Sai was a pediatric nurse. She spent years caring for children — learning patience, precision, and the profound difference that presence makes. When she finally turned her lifelong obsession with style into a brand, she brought all of it with her: the care, the craft, and the conviction that every woman deserves to feel extraordinary.
She launched Sai Sankoh on November 12, 2018 — not as a fashion brand, but as an invitation. To every woman who had ever stood in front of her wardrobe and felt like nothing in the world was made for her.

Growing up surrounded by that tradition, Sai absorbed something most fashion schools never teach: that clothing is ceremony. That getting dressed is an act of self-declaration.
The Sai Sankoh collection blends the vintage glamour of West African ceremonial dress with modern resort silhouettes — flowing kaftans, bold prints, and pieces designed to move as beautifully as the women wearing them.
