Blending vintage glamour with modern sophistication, I created this brand to celebrate every woman’s unique beauty, confidence, and elegance—regardless of her size, background, or location.

My journey began on the sunlit shores of Sierra Leone, West Africa, where my love for creativity, color, and classic elegance first blossomed. As a child, I played by the ocean but never learned to swim—thanks to teasing from my cousins. That memory, coupled with my family’s migration during the civil war, sparked a lifelong passion for travel, beauty, and the magic of luxury resorts.

When I arrived in the United States at 15, I pursued a stable career in pediatrics, working as a nurse for eight years. But fashion was always calling. A part-time job at Saks Fifth Avenue opened my eyes to the transformative power of luxurious garments—and it lit a creative fire in me I couldn’t ignore.

In 2018, I took the leap and founded Sai Sankoh, a luxury resort wear brand designed for women who own the spotlight. Inspired by runways, old-Hollywood icons, and global destinations, our collections are made to flatter every body—from petite to tall to curvy.
